One Brother Is Free. The Other One Still Faces Death.
Hey y’all, I need y’all to pray today.

I read this today and I can’t quit thinking about it, so I wanted to share it with y’all.
Two brothers in Pakistan, Qaisar and Amoon Ayub, got arrested for blasphemy over some stuff that got posted on a WordPress site. Blasphemy over there means saying something bad about Muhammad, their prophet, and the law in Pakistan says death for it. The site had their names and contact info on it, so they got blamed for it.
Their lawyers say that in all these years, nobody ever showed any proof that either one of them put that stuff on there.
They both still got the death sentence in 2018.
They tried to appeal it and lost. The hearings kept getting put off, 13 times in all. This month, on October 7th, the top court over there finally made a call.
They let Amoon go. He’d sat in prison about 10 years for something his lawyers say nobody proved he did.
But Qaisar didn’t get to go. The court said his death sentence stands.
One brother is free. The other one is still waiting to die.
I don’t know how you read that and just move on with your day.
His lawyers ain’t done yet. They’re gonna ask the court to look at it again, and they’re gonna ask the folks in charge over there to pardon him and let him go. And they gotta do all that while mobs show up at these trials and threaten judges who don’t give the death sentence.
Pakistan is one of the hardest places in the world to be a Christian. This is what that looks like up close. It ain’t just a story on the news. This is a real man, with a real family, and his kids are waiting to see if their dad is gonna live or die.
Hebrews 13:3 says to remember the folks in prison like you were sitting in there with them, and to remember the ones getting treated bad like it was happening to you.
So that’s what we’re gonna do.
We’re gonna pray for Qaisar today. We’re gonna pray for his family. We’re gonna pray for Amoon too, cause getting out don’t mean he’s safe yet.
And if you would, share this with somebody who will pray too. The more folks praying, the better.
God bless y’all, see you later, John
